Admission to the track is free -  first race is at 2:40

Owners of OTTBs that have raced in Chicago may get the chance to meet their horse’s former trainers and jockeys.  We will make every effort to make the introduction.

Owners of OTTBs that have won at Hawthorne and some years at Arlington may be able to get a win picture

Get a behind the scenes look at a typical race day – including a close up of the saddling process, see the starting gate, watch trainers and jockeys discuss the race after the horse is unsaddled, watch track maintenance and the vets keeping the horses safe, visit the racing office to see how a race card is put together

Come prepared to tell us how wonderful your retired thoroughbred is and those that don’t currently own a horse can learn about our program
